R/P Marketing Public Relations is starting the first quarter of 2012 with exciting changes, including adding marketing talent to its leadership team, announcing several promotions and implementing a fresh perspective to its comprehensive client service emphasis.
At the start of 2012, R/P welcomed Mary Beth Schoen as director, client relations to R/P’s hospice marketing division, Transcend Hospice Marketing Group. She brings nearly three decades of experience developing strategic marketing programs for clients with a broad background in healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing. Not only is she an expert in reaching consumers, but also in engaging diverse healthcare audiences, including physicians and nurses.
“The R/P-Transcend approach of fully delving into and researching our clients’ needs to develop the most effective solutions is inspiring,” said Schoen. “The organizational culture here is invigorating and I truly feel fortunate to be a member of this team.”
Stan Massey, a partner at R/P, has been named chief branding officer, highlighting his keen sense for building brand awareness and equity for clients. Most recently, he served as executive vice president, strategic planning. Additionally, Angie Grosjean and Laura Waltz were promoted to client relations supervisor and media relations supervisor, respectively.
“This new year holds great promise for R/P as we are not only raising the bar and challenging our own standards of success, but also branching out to discover new opportunities to help our current clients accomplish more,” said founder and CEO Martha Vetter. “I couldn’t be more proud of our team or more excited about the coming year.”
